![]() Barry doesn't try pulling Captain Cold out of the past again, nor does he make any attempt to contact Golden Glider for help as both are professional thieves skilled in silent theft. Also, the point when the rogues figure out Barry’s secret identity is similar to " Gone Rogue" when Nora’s rogues figured out she was XS.The unknown speedster also revealed her identity by the end of the episode. The scene where Barry failed to convince the rogues he recruited about the plan to get the generator until they accused him of not trusting them is very similar to what happened in the Arrow Season 5 episode " The Recruits" where Oliver Queen recruited Rene Ramirez/Wild Dog and Evelyn Sharp/Artemis and trained them (including Curtis Holt/Mr.Terrific) as the Green Arrow without disclosing his identity until they all gave up on the training with Curtis accusing Oliver for not trusting them until by the end of the episode he reveals his identity and won his trust from the new recruits just like Barry did when he won the trust of the rogues by revealing that he's The Flash. The second is when Iris calls Barry "Big Brother" in reference to "1984" by George Orwell. The first is when they deem the rogues' unknown ally "Benefactor" who is the leader of the One State in "We" by Yevgeny Zamyatin. There are two references to dictators in dystopian novels in this episode.Joel Semande as Roderick Smith (archive footage).Jessica Parker Kennedy as XS (archive footage).Jordan Fisher as Impulse (archive footage).Alexandria Wailes as Michelle Amar/Murmur.Magda Apanowicz as Andrea Wozzeck/The Fiddler.Richard Harmon as Owen Mercer/Captain Boomerang. ![]()
